Cost-Saving Practices¶
- B-series VMs only — burstable compute
- Auto-shutdown on dev VMs — 11 PM daily
- LRS storage only — sufficient for homelab backup targets
- Delete unused public IPs — idle PIPs cost ~$3/mo each
- Reserved instances — consider 1-year for any VM running 24/7
